Re: Shopping

I'm always amazed at clothes buyers too. I look at my daughter's floor and it's covered in clothes. She's always finding something new. Something on sale.

I have a closet full of clothes. I'm constantly getting rid of clothes I've outworn, they are too worn to wear to work, so I toss them out or give them away. Then I buy new clothes in the fall/winter- in summer I'll buy some more. I don't always make good choices. Sometimes I'll buy something I believe to be a hideously low price for the quality even though there's some odd quirk to it. I might find myself disappointed after awhile for making that kind of a purchase.

Sometimes I'll find the perfect item. Great looking (well, in my taste) comfortable, affordable, washable without being made of ugly fabric. I'll be so happy- it's disgusting how I can be made happy buying clothes. Not very spiritually inclined I guess.

I get sad thinking about all these clothing retailers going out of business because noone will buy their hideous clothes under their florescent lighting in the mall at those prices they want. What a joke! So maybe it's right that they fail. It's just, how much do these retailers play into the U.S. economy? If our future depends on these businesses, I'm only now becoming aware, then we aren't in good hands.

That's about it.
