Re: Children in "church"

Clint, what a great topic!

My youngest is has been blest with an excellent memorization skill, he has memorized all of the book of James and he is only 8 years old, he knows it word for word, without error, one day we were sitting in evening church and the pastor asked a man to read from James, so the man stumpled a second finding what he thought was the right verse (but wrong chapter) and began to read... my 8 year old jumped up, ran two seats up and flipped the page for the man before he got three words into the wrong verse.

The man looked down at my son who was just trying to be helpful but forgot where he was...and scowled at him. My son slowly slinked back to his seat as a few folks gasped and those who were not closed by laughed slightly. When he sat down he expected me yo be disappointed at him for getting up out of turn, no way as proud as I could be I smiled at him, I whispered "youdid good son" and we went on with the service!
