You get a medical card from your insurance carrier, the illegals would not have one. That currently causes problems in treatment at ER's where you usually have to hsow something to receive treatment-unless you are completely knocked out and can't reach into your wallet for it.....
When my husband became ill, they must have went in his wallet, found his name and insurance carrier, and admitted him. All without notifying me.....
like his name was on their computer, they could have called me at home. But if he wasn't covered, I do not know what they would have done-maybe made him wait for treatment.
