What happened to the Haka?

I watched the start of the Wales v All Blacks yesterday and was devastated to find out that there had been some kind of 'political' ban on the Haka before the match?

Does anybody know what happened? I tried google but not a lot came up.

I do not agree with any politician banning what I class as a tradition for the All Blacks! It is not only a wonderful thing to watch but it is now part of New Zealand culture isn't it? I don't know that much about it but I think it is sooo wrong to ban it.

The opposing team expect it! The crowd expects it! How did it make the All Blacks feel having to do the darn thing in the changing room????????

It's wrong! Politician should keep their damn noses out of these sort of things! Even the Welsh crowd started booing when they realised that there was not going to be a Haka!
