Four New West Nile Cases In South Dakota
The South Dakota Health Department is reporting four more cases of West Nile virus. Two of the cases are in Tripp County. Brown and Todd counties each have one new case.
Health officials say 37 cases of West Nile virus have been reported in South Dakota this year. Three cases have been detected through blood transfusions. One person has died. Health officials say that last year at this time, seven people had died of West Nile virus and more than 700 cases had been reported. |
