i had the privelidge and honor to introduce a canadte for govorn at the conference i was at what a honr it was.

Years ago the Governor of the State of Washington was Booth Gardener. I was at function where he was the speaker. A young political aspirant gave a lengthy introduction that made the Governor sound like he could walk on water. At the end of his introduction he concluded by saying, “ladies and gentlemen I now present to you Governor Goof Bardner”. The place erupted into raucous laughter and once the Governor pulled himself together he gave a very nice speech on transportation issues.
