what is funnier is I used to volunteer for my local PD for nine years-they hardly ever had donuts-they were all into health and had Bagels most of time. I kept asking them -so where are the donuts? They kept telling me they were trying to change their image, after a couple years of no sugar high or caffein (they also cut back on coffee from media jokes) they finally said-forget it-I need the rush -no way can you do a chase on Bagels and cheese! I realized that when I did Patrols as a volunteer-NO way can you shift into High Gear for a Code 3 on bagels. My Partner kept telling me-we can go code 3 anytime! I said ya-tell me that after you devour the big mac you just ate! I do not work there anymore but where I do work I never eat heavy or I get sleepy , but then I sit 99 % of the shift too.
