MIDDLETOWN – An Amber Alert has been issued for an 18-month-old Middletown boy.

Police said this morning that Marcos Antonio Richmond has been abducted by his 39-year-old babysitter Tammy Johnstone and her 40-year-old husband, Louis Johnstone.

The missing child, who was reported missing at 9:25 p.m., Monday, is described as a Hispanic male, 40 pounds, 27 inches, with black hair and brown eyes, who was wearing a red sleeper. He was last seen at residence in the 2000 block of Arlington Avenue.

Police believe the Johnstones may be driving a 1993 Maroon Chevrolet extended cab truck with Ohio license DDJ9066.

The suspects stole several items belonging to the child and identification for the mother and child, and it is believed Tammy Johnstone will attempt to pose as the boy’s mother, police said.

Anyone with information on the missing child is asked to call the Middletown Police Department at (513) 425-7700.

right after i posted this it's been reported the child was found in good health. no details yet except two adults in custody.
