On today's date, President Roosevelt pushed a button in Washington
that signalled traffic to start crossing the brand new Golden Gate Bridge!  |

Oh, such a pretty bridge. I still think it is the prettiest I have ever crossed.
So President Roosevelt pushed a button 3,000 miles away to open the bridge! |
