ever notice that introduction threads are all the same?

typical introduction thread:
hi im so and so from wherever, look forward to enjoying your forumy company.

but then again how different can you make an introduction thread?

anyways i do look forward to enjoying your forumy company, are there any people that tend to post constantly everywhere or am i more likely to see small groups of people in their own forum?

A toast, to forumyness

Re: ever notice that introduction threads are all the same?

i find the introduction forum to be similar to walking into a room full of people and politely introducing oneself, as well as engaging in a bit of social niceties. a courteous idea in a forum in my opinion. it's a venue of first impressions as in any gathering. ....then, of course, people will drift into areas which interest them.
