International team to monitor presidential election

What's this about? An International team monitoring the election?

Wow! How do you all feel about this?!

Just another step closer to a Global World Government. Does not our own government cherish its sovereignty?

Re: International team to monitor presidential election

i happen to be against it, however, if they sent only ten monitors for the last midterm election....well gee, they could send a thousand monitors, and it'd still be a joke. as if having .0001% of polling places watched is going to keep the election 'clean'. ridiculous. let them think they're all pious and courageous to be 'monitoring' us. it's all for show.

I agree. I didn't state my opinion above, but I'm against this. Before we know it, we'll have Interpol agents here in the U.S. acting under the jurisdiction of foreign nations.

Re: International team to monitor presidential election

I think the key phrase here is this one:

Quote:
The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe was invited to monitor the election by the State Department.
I'm sure the State Department is well aware of the issues involved.
