Anyone Hear About the Surgury to get rid of period but still have babies?

Hi my name is Susie. I recently saw something on T.V about some kind of surgury that women can have that takes the period away but you can still have babies. Has anyone heard of that yet? It was a commercial here in phoenix about 5 days ago. I can't remember a number or even a name. If you have any information please contact me.. Thanks a lot! Hope to hear from you all soon!

Why do we think that it is a good thing to stop a woman's periods?

So what if it's annoying...it's nature and it happens for a reason. My brother told me that women are not allowed to pray in the Muslim religion while they are bleeding. I told him it's because they are already purifying themselves and don't need to pray during that time. Really, its the time of the month when the men need to put in some special prayers to help them survive.

If you stop getting your period there are no more good excuses to be a bitch. How can that be good?

This is a bit of a rant after a doctor pushed Depo Provera on me by exclaiming how my periods would eventually disappear and that this is a very desirable thing. Little note here. "Eventually" it will disappear on its own. Every time the male dominated medical profession comes up with a great idea like this I wish the Inquisition had wiped out doctors instead of midwives.

Perhaps "they" is a better word to use that "we"? Anyway... 1) someone's advertising a product or surgical tecnique so they are expecting to make money out of it. That's one reason. 2) Some people don't like having sex at that time, it can be very messy. 2a) Some people find it embarrassing (both sexes). 3) Erm... well, it's not "an idea put forward by Purveyors of Sanitary Wear By Appointment", so it's not them.... 4) Erm....

should not fool with "Mother Nature". this procedure could be for many reasons; ex: marriage, straight or gay? women athletes? women in service would love it, no dealing with dressings and mess while protecting our country? there has to be a purpose of some kind? this bloody mess needs to go...

The reason i was thinking about it is because mine are so irregular and unpredictable i don't know what to do anymore. one time i could have it for 3 days and the next time i will have it for 3 weeks! I have went to the doctor and there is nothing wrong. I was put on birth control pills to help regulate it but that never happened. They only put me in the hospital and i almost died i was allergic to something they put in them. I am really sick of having it for 3 weeks.. It gets expensive and old real fast. But once again thanks for all the feedback.

I really think all the FDA approved medicines are poison...And they are just make your body more toxic. Including birth control pills..They don't deal with the cause, they just deal with the effect..And that's temporary...Always go with the nature...Listen what she says ...she never lies ...

I agree with some medicines not being good, but the rest is poppycock as I have previously explained in another thread.

I agree, Doctors are trained to prescribe Medication, therefore making money & creating further illness in people. People can heal themselves -- to a degree -- start reading about health...FDA wants to have control in natural medicine and remedys, we are preventing that from happening.
