'Illegal' Botox Imitation Paralyzed Patients

By Jacqui Goddard in Miami
The Telegraph - UK

A Florida clinic offering cut-price Botox injections was sealed off as a crime scene yesterday after four people were left paralysed by botulism.

Federal agents who searched the Advanced Integrated Medical Centre, a private clinic in Fort Lauderdale, are said to have found paperwork from a pharmaceutical distributor that sells an imitation form of the anti-wrinkle treatment.

The four people at the centre of the scare have suffered muscle and lung paralysis and are being kept alive on hospital ventilators. They include Dr Bach McComb, who runs the clinic, although his licence to work as a doctor was suspended last year.

Unhappy Re: 'Illegal' Botox Imitation Paralyzed Patients

Maybe it's just me but I fail to see the humor in muscle and lung paralysis or a ventilator keeping a person alive. These people are paying the ultimate price for vanity.

I do not approve of the current "Paula-bashing". However, reading your replies *is* difficult, as it seems to me that they're invariably confusing (as to what you are replying to, or the meaning of what you say). I have the feeling that what you're trying to say might well be important, if only I could understand it. Perhaps you could try to be a bit clearer and less, hey, like er well you know idiomatic? TIA.

I don't mind being a punching bag, and i do not feel bashed in the least. Not every person who posts at the forum may be honest? They also feel insulted easily, this paralyzes any conversation.

OK. "You don't mind people replying angrily; it doesn't affect you".

Erm:

"People don't post their honest opinions"

or:

"People post dishonest opinions"

or:

"Not everyone who psots is allowed to be honest".

Re: 'Illegal' Botox Imitation Paralyzed Patients

She makes statements like, "the queers came out in my generation, i, like them, but i am mad, because they are F54ed up people", "you are acting like a spoiled child, a sissie", "The mentality you exhibit needs examination by a PSYCHIATRIC physician. Yes they have mirrors for you to view yourself, you can suck your thumb. any questions? I didn;t think so, take the step & call for help. Need i send a check to cover expenses?","tend to your life, if you have one","or do you have to be a homo? I will bring my boots if needed. hahahahahaha, are you having chocolate cake? i thought so...fudge on a stick in the design of an organ? ",and"we have (3) men that are gay in our family, the (real) men ridicule them, as mud packers, put your cork in" and SHE is the one being bashed? wtf?
