LA Council Backs Anti-Wal-Mart Measure
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - The Los Angeles City Council on Tuesday gave preliminary approval to a proposed ordinance that could hamper plans by Wal-Mart Stores Inc.(NYSE:WMT - news) to build supercenters within city limits.

Hooray for Inglewood. Way to stick it to the 'Mart.
Wal-Mart recieves a minimum from me. I cannot stand corporate mega-stores. In my opinion, they are the worst kind of evil. Wal-Mart reminds me of a virus; wherever it hasn't been, it must go, and once it's there, it doesn't leave. |

SAN FRANCISCO (ForumGarden) - Wal-Mart has officially reacted to the Los Angeles restrictions on building additional Wal-Mart Superstores.
