Report: Ebola killing African gorillas ........this is sad, it would be tragic to see them wiped out.

L.C, you're right--this is tragic and it breaks my heart.
However, the greater tragedy is this--WE WILL LOSE ALL GREAT APES IN THE WILD WITHIN 25-30 YEARS! Habitat loss, the pet trade and the "bush meat" trade will take them, regardless of what we do. So, yet another reason that zoos must continue to promote captive/sanctuary breeding programs.
