Holiday Cheer and FG's New Infraction System

Hi Everyone,

I've been trying to put this off, but with the exciting week we've just had it looks like my hand has been forced.

Beginning tonight, we are going to be implementing FG's new infraction system. The infraction system follows our simple rules as listed above.

As it stands now, most infractions are worth 1 point and have a 30 day expiration. Three infractions will result in having your account either banned or terminated.

Here are the details:

Spammed Advertisements.
3 points - Banned Account

No "Flaming": Please do not post any messages that harrass, insult, belittle, threaten or flame another member or guest.
1 Point - 30 Days expiration

No "Trolling": Please do not post any topic that disrupts the peace and harmony of this board. Don't create meaningless threads with the sole purpose of starting a dispute. This includes messages in profiles and signatures.
1 Point - 30 Days expiration.

Inappropriate Language
1 Point - 30 Days expiration

No "Spamming": Please do not double post or cross-post the same message in multiple forums. You will not mass-PM or mass-email multiple members of this site the same message. You will not post for the sake of increasing your post count.
1 Point - 30 Days expiration

No "Offensive" Posts, Links or Images: Please do not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-orientated, hateful, threatening, racist, sexist, discriminatory, or otherwise violative of any local or international laws. This includes links in your signature, profile, bookmarks as well as posted images, photos and avatars. Staff will ultimately decide if something is appropriate or not.
1 Point - 30 Days expiration

All infractions will handled by ForumGarden.

everyone is starting with a clean slate. Infractions levied will only be for posts and threads from this moment forward.

I am glad that the rules have been changed, things were really getting out of hand and so its right that FG have decided to do this. I hope that this will provide everyone with clear guidelines about how to conduct themselves in future and how to handle personal disagreements or personality clashes. Well done FG,

now its time for some shameless self-promotion, wait thats no on either is it? Oh well.
