In an audiotape broadcast yesterday on Al-Jazeera satellite TV, a man purported to be Osama bin Laden said Abu-Musab al-Zarqawi was his Iraqi deputy and called for a boycott of next month's elections there.
The voice on the tape described al-Zarqawi as the "emir" of Al-Qa'ida in Iraq and said Muslims there should "listen to him." The speaker also condemned the coming elections: "In the balance of Islam, this constitution is infidel and, therefore, everyone who participates in this election will be considered infidels." http://www.canada.com/montreal/montr...4-ffd029f6e6ad |

Re: Bin Laden weighs in on Iraqi elections
Why are his tapes broadcasted? How come they are not placed away and forgotten about? Are we feeding his ego by viewing them publicly? Should we ignore his tapings? I think so, maybe he will then come out of hiding? probably not?

I believe he will NEVER voluntarily come out of hiding and I also believe people have a right AND a duty to demand the complete, unedited tapes ... |
