gone for ever

i have just read that the Chinese river dolphin has become extinct , i find this very upsetting that this beautiful gentle intelligent mammal has gone forever due to illegal fishing and pollution , the dolphins have lived in the Yangtze river for 20 000 years , the ibex and Caspian tiger have also died out since 1970

is any one else deeply saddened by this

It is very sad to lose any of the world's animal population to extinction. How sad. I have a t shirt that says "They were here first.
