That is great Lulu thanks for sharing.
I used to have two birds like that but they had to stay out the bush where we lived as they are way to noisy to have in town.
I miss them but know they are in good hands

That's why so many of them wind up in bad situations...people don't realize how loud a parrot's SCREAM can be! Didn't you love the way the crippled bird was surrounded by "family?"

Our birds were in a huge cage & they could get up really high & could see the road.
They were great watch dogs & would screech when they heard or saw a car coming,so we were forewarned about visitors/strangers

I now have a cockateal who is currently sitting on my shoulder as I type,he/has been hand fed for a while , fully feathered & cracking seed we are teaching it to talk

You all have such marvelous birds down there! It's one of the reasons I WILL visit...one of these days!
