Cheapskates

I've got this thing where I won't buy something if I can make it cheaper. Even though I know damn well that I'll never actually make it myself.

Can being a cheapskate be good?

Something like lazy mash then I buy the packet as I prefer the taste to mashing my own but you can go too far with buying it already made or frozen. That to me is a waste of money and lazy.

I wish I was more like that, I tend to splurge then regret it when the bank statement arrives.

See? I'd be more likely to find a way to attach wheels to my running shoes.

If you know you won't make it, shop around and buy it at a better price. There is nothing wrong with that.

I'm the same. The ex used to spend stupid money on crap that I could find loads cheaper. Most of my furniture is second hand, reduced in sales or cheap off ebay.
