FG Game Shows - Ideas Welcome

Welcome to the new forum area for FG Game Shows.

We currently have The Dating Game underway and ideas for other shows are welcome.
As more and more games take place we will learn more about what works and what doesn't.

Sometimes the games will move quickly other times there will be pauses and short waits as RL gets in the way of our fun on occasion.

If you have ideas for other games you think will work then feel free to write them here for discussion.

All ideas that sound like they might work will get moved to their own proposal thread

We'd have to run a real time game if success can be had with a google search. Then there is only one or two minutes to post the answer.

What about a new game called "FG's Got Talent"?
In it you have to describe whatever talent you are presenting, marks for creativity and description. Up to 8 members can enter a round, the competitions close for each round after 4 days or 8 competitors have entered then we vote for the best.

The Weakest Link, as it's normally played is too easy with google at hand. We could change the nature of the questions though to make it work.

What about one of those 'How well do we know each other' type things?

I'd like a trivia or question type game, not sure how you'd do it...

I was trying to figure out how you could play tri-bond....where 3 things about 1 thing in common...for instance...It's a board game and a lot of fun...not sure we could do it on here....

That could be fun. We need to come up with game play rules or guidelines that set who is asking and who is answering. We could try doing it so we have a member that is disguised and you have to figure out who it is.

That's possible if the host is asking questions from a home game. I don't have any games like that with me... they didn't fit in the suitcase.
