getting things started

just starting things out. you can never have to many friends so this seems like a great opportunity to make some friends and develop long lasting relationships. i have found as you get older and step into the real world it makes things hard to keep in contact with your old friends. not to mention that most of the time people mature at different rates and grow apart. i am looking forward to meeting new people on here and learning as much as i can in the process.

good day

Hi Jeremiah,

Yes, it gets harder once you leave school. It gets even harder as you get older and begin a family. Things get so busy and your immediate family takes up so much time.

But the cool thing is, your real friends will always be around. The ones that were nothing really more than acquaintances will either remain that way or drift away.

It's actually quite a fascinating evolution to watch over the years.

Chris

Re: getting things started

ya chris i have found that most of my friends are still in there lets go out and party everynight stage. that is a huge reason for me losing alot of my friends. some people just mature quicker than others. i have found when you stay so busy it does not leave much time for friends. i have been in the process of buying a house so that has absorbed all of my time for the past 3 months.
thats is true that your true friend will always stick around the others are just what i would call "buddies and not really friends"

Re: getting things started

IN MY SIX YEARS Of BEING IN THE REAL WORLD I HAVE LEARNED the only person who is your true friend is your spouse and kids thats where all of your energy should be. people tend to get jelous of what you have and try to distroy it or take it

Re: getting things started

I've only got two 'friends' in the sense of the word ..... I've loads of lovely peeps that I know both in real life and on the internet, I love getting to know people! and in general, I've found 'most' to be lovely!!!!!!.... but it takes someone extra special to hold the title of 'friend'.....
