Re: 3 Hour Thanksgiving Meal

How can you cook a turkey in 2 hours?? We start at about 5 AM and eat about noon- 2PM.
The rest of that menu sounds good though, minus the sausage dressing. And I haven't had their pumpkin soup but last year I had their butternut squash soup and it was delish. Probably the pumpkin is too.

Re: 3 Hour Thanksgiving Meal

When you cook the turkey sit it on the lowest rack in the oven at 475 degrees. Check the turkey at certain times to see if it reaches the certain temperature. I agree with you RedGlitter, the butternut squash soup is good. Good leftover recipes available as well.

Re: 3 Hour Thanksgiving Meal

It only takes me 45 minutes to an hour to cook a turkey depending on size. I usually cook 4-5 on Thanksgiving morning for not only our dinner but my brothers in-laws (because they are sickly) An older couple down the street and an extra one for friends who always show up at my house later to watch football.
