No bail for parents in baby assualt
Article reads: Houston, TX. A judge appointed an attorney Monday to represent a woman charged with injuring her 6 month old, who police say was sexually assulted, suffered broken bones from head to to and had her tongue cut down the middle.
Donna Marie Norman, 19, was "obviously upset about the situation that has happened to her family." court appointed attorney Jerald Graber said after a brief probable cause hearing Monday. During the hearing, Norman's common-law husband, Ivan Castaneda, 21, asked for additonal time to hire an attorney. Both are charged with injury to a child. State District Judge Brock Thomas ruled that there are probable cause for both parents to remain jailed without bail. The infant remained in critical conditon Monday at Texas Children's Hospital, where she was transferred last week after her parents brought her to another hospital, where they told doctors she was suffering from congestion. Doctors, however, discovered that the baby had severe internal and external injuries.   |

Another amazing and horrific story. I wonder who the parents of Donna Norman are? They certainly raised a monster.

This inocent baby had no chance with two parents as monsters. It saddens me to read incidents like this. What makes a person want to hurt an inocent baby. What does a baby do but cry only when hungry, wet or hurting. The parents should both suffer for it and I don't mean sit back and relax in prison.

This is such a sad and scary case. What's wrong with people? I firmly believe in "an eye for an eye". Inflict the same injuries on the parents that they inflicted on this baby.
