We all know that washing machines eat socks... what do you do with the widows?

I try to match them with other socks of the same style and color or else I toss them. They make good dusting mitts though.

looks embarrassed -
wear them under long boots - nobody ever asks to see if your socks match. I know I know, what if I got run over by a bus, and the doctor had to take my boots off? |

You can cut off the foot part and stick the tube part over a spray can.

The go in the lonely sock basket till I find the match. And every couple of years I go through the lonely sock basket and toss socks that have found no match.
