exchanging names?

Do you and your family exchange names? We do in my family.. usually every year. In Tim's family they just started it. What is the limit for your family to spend? Usually mine was 25-50.00 but in Tim's family it ranges 100.00 (being the lowest) - 250.00 being the highest! Now we'd have to pick 3 because we have 3 people in the family. Thats a lot of freakin' money!

Im sorry hun but I dont understand, do you swap names for money???

No we have big families and can't afford to buy for every single person so we all put our names in a jar and draw names- which ever name we get that who we have to buy for.

No we dont do that but what we do do (ron) is just buy for the children and not the adults.

No, we don't exchange names - I don't have that many family members I associate with or care to..
I buy alot for my Nephews Family in Seattle and thats all I care about..

I refuse to allow anyone to buy me anything - I don't want anything or need anything.

I've been doing this for 35 yrs and it works for me.
