The brits have their guard up? Most people over here believe our government is far too laid back. We have people speaking publicly about why we should be bombed. In the name of free speach our goverment does nothing. Our newspapers are forever showing floors in our security including a passer by finding a folder with all of the emergency plans for our main airport

Open societies will always be vulnerable to attack. The best we can do is try to keep terrorist organizations on the defensive so they can't coordinate their activities.

The threat is out there but I believe that al-Queda is nowhere near as large or as organized as our governments make them out to be. But it only takes a few people to do significant damage as we saw in America in Oklahoma City.

Ouch! That doesn't sound good. I read an interesting article last night about the super-lax Canadian rules *currently in place. You know:

Terrorist enters Canada with a fake passport. He/she is caught. They automatically get an assylum hearing. The person is not held. They go free to wait for their hearing and guess what? They disappear. Duh.

Really? Was this person found to be a terrorist (or suspected terrorist)? Interesting story. Do you have a link to any articles on the web? I'd be interested in reading it.
