Los Angeles w/ small kids?

We are going to L.A. CA to visit family with our 3 small children. Anyone local there or anyone else to give us some ideas of things to do?? Also, some tips for flying with them? I have been told Benadryl!!! HA! Just kidding! LOL

Also, special places to eat?

Universal Studios and Disney Land. I agree with Venice Beach.

Thanks! Definately doing the Pier as my sister used to work on it....knows everyone. But anything else besides those big parks? Is the drive to Sea World worth it? I have 2 sons and a daughter. We will pick one big park to do..(Disney or Universal..or Sea World) but that is about all I can take with 3 small ones! We went to a Six Flags last summer and only actually did 4 rides as it took forever to do anything with the kids! Bathrooms, meals, diaper changing, parent ride swapping.......UGH!!!!!!
