swing votes for sale
Are their really any undecided voters left out there? Maybe indifferent would be a better word for it. Democrat precinct captains and other Party organizers are preparing for a massive *get out the vote* campaign which will concentrate on the homeless, inner city minorities, and other traditional Democrat constituencies.
Republicans are countering by rounding up the ever growing Latino vote and touting the President's proposed immigration reforms as an incentive to vote Republican. The anti Castro Cuban vote in Florida has always leaned Republican but younger generations of Cubans with no memory of Fidel are being aggressively courted by Democrats.
This will be the most closely monitored Presidential election in history and both sides will be pointing fingers on election day and making accusations of vote buying and multiple voting by college students, poor people, and others with questionable addresses. During the last election there were many incidents involving homeless people being offered cartons of cigarettes, liquor, and cash to go to the polls and vote for, "the candidate of their choice."
Such egregious voter manipulation will be more difficult this time around but that wont discourage some party soldiers from pulling out all the stops in this extremely tight and hard fought race.
