Wow, how life can change!

Yay! we're back online again after moving to Geelong which is about 1 1/2 hours drive from Melbourne. It's such a nice small-sized coastal city. We'll be here for a year for business/work purposes so I'm kind of relieved it's not 'hicksville'. People here are friendly and helpful, they seem to drive slower and be more courteous on the roads than Melbourne (big-city) drivers.
Settling in has been reasonably stress-free. I guess it's just the usual thing....finding your way around and where things are like supermarkets, post office, banks etc.
I can't believe how much I missed the net.

I guess we're all addicts. Anyhow it's great to be back with y'all <(did I spell it right?)

Thanks Peg.
Hi Capt_Buzz! We were with Optus (cable) in Melbourne but now due to a variety of reasons beyond my control we're on Telstra bigpond ( ADSL), which actually is'nt too bad.

The admin at Optus is dragging along some Irish Ozz's to FG. I met him in Dublin Ireland last week.

Re: Wow, how life can change!

So capt_b, you met some Optus bigwig? is that right? In Dublin? Wish I was in Dublin right now. I have fond, if a bit scratchy early childhood memories of the place.
