2nd car needed...6 in family...I like the Honda Pilot

Any tips or advice on a 2nd car for our big family. We have a Honda Oddessy, but hubby needs to replace 12 year old civic. He will never have to carry more than 3 kids in the car..if you have all 4 and the dog you take the minivan.
I really like the Pilot.

Any medium-large sized family car should do it, obviously it will depend on personal preferences and your budget, but generally speaking the Japanese firms Toyota and Honda have the best reputation for reliability , whilst German and Italian cars are said to have more flare, style-wise. let me know what you eventually get!

it also depends on where in upstate NY you live.. do you get alot of snow in the winter.. if you do, consider a true 4WD.. not one of those toy things like a CRV.. or a Pilot.. or a good front wheel drive.. Saab is killer in the snow and you can find one off a lease for about 2/3's the price of a new one..
