I still like Santa! Don't sack him! (And I have three almost grown kids.)

If you sack Santa, then you'll have to get rid of:

Fairy tales
Tooth fairy
Easter Bunny
Magical storybooks
Playful imagination
Nursery rhymes
Puppet shows

Nope.

Pragmatic logic has no place in a young child's life.

What, no one likes Santa anymore? There was a book I read one time called the Physics of Christmas that gave answers to how he goes to every house in the world in one night, how the reindeer pull his sleigh, etc.

Santa Claus was actually a priest in Turkey during the 300's, he dropped bags of gold down people's chimneys. He didn't wear the big red suit though.

That's true. The Red suited Santa was American idea,started sometime back in 1924 in New York. Before my time.

i don't believe in santa that much. i think we work so hard all year, that christmas and santa means time off for us, we can get anything we need all year long, santa needs to go now.
