Where has my signature gone?  Why can I not edit/add a new one???

Hi, I'm new to the site here and so haven't really gotten my bearings as of yet. I hope it's okay to pose this question here. lol Do I have to be a contributor in order to have access to my profile and sig? I normally sport a nifty banner where ever I go and I just feel so nekid with out it.

naw in your profile you can type in your sig, there is a place that says signature, now if you are a supporter that is when you can have your choice of imported avatars as one of the perks.
