It's not an avatar. It's me.

When I needed glasses as a teen, those were the only style the optician would show me. I had a choice of color. I should have chosen red.

Obviously, I wouldn't have been caught dead wearing them--except I needed them to drive.

heh! kitty-kat glasses! always loved that retro look.

my avatar is also indeed me. notice the subtle lighting designed to mask the age lines that are beginning to really **** me off.
