The blast on Tuesday follows a series of similar attacks over the past year, including near simultaneous plane crashes exactly a week ago, all of them linked by officials to Chechen fighters seeking independence from Russia.

Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov said the woman had tried to enter the Riga metro station, that would have been crowded towards the end of the evening rush hour.

"She...was at the door when she saw two policemen. She was scared and turned and decided to destroy herself," Luzhkov said.

The bombings may have stopped in Northern Ireland,but the intimidatiions and beatings by both the Nationalists & Loyalists continue.

You have to be a psychopath to be a terrorist. In my opinion, the people who actually carry out these horrific attacks are motivated by their own twisted desire to cause pain and suffering. Religion, politics, and ideology just gives them cover. Without a cause they would be common criminals and I believe more and more of their ilk are going to be attracted to terrorist organizations just for the chance to carry out their homicidal fantasies.

There are legions of angry young Muslim men willing to die in battle but few of them would elect to be "martyred" by killing non combatants, women, and children. As much as they hate America I think most of them are uneasy about the indiscriminate killing, particularly the killing of innocent Muslims.

The only way to win the war against terrorism is to help Muslim moderates win the war for the true Islam.

Oh I don't know so much about that. I have spoken to Muslim's here and in England,and all they say is,that its America's fault. Many of these are students for Christ's sake, and they went on and about the great sin that the US culture has invaded their culture. That's bullshite. And then they said America helps the Jews in Israel against their people in the mid-east.

No Stop this disease spreading or it will be too late.
