Warsai's World

Wow, this is the first time I've seen a place for journals at any forum. This was a very creative idea. The day was boring and hot, same as yesterday and the day before. I'm sure something exciting will happen tomorrow (i'm not being sarcastic) so I'll write some more later.

Peace.

Re: Warsai's World

Last night I rented The Last Samurai. It's a great movie about the remaining samurai fighting modern Japan. Man, I'm getting a craving for some chicken quesadillas. I'll write more later...

Re: Warsai's World

I watched the Convention last night. A lot of things I heard disgusted me, but one thing in particular. Cheney said, "People say Edwards got his job because of his good looks, how do you think I got the job!" Cheney reminds me of the Grinch, have you seen his smile. It looks just like the Grinch when he's about to steal Christmas.

Ray Charles last album: Genius Loves Company features duets with people like B.B. King, Gladys Knight, and Elton John. It's a great CD, I bought it just yesterday. Here's a picture of the cover:

Re: Warsai's World

It's weird in Northern Virginia it's hotter now than it was in early August, and Doug Hill says it's going to get even hotter. The kids in the neighborhood seem to be playing outside now a whole lot more than in the middle of summer. Maybe they just want to cram in some fun before the school year. I'm going to do something new in my journal. I'm going to put in Eritrean news headlines in every post, or every other post. Talk to you later.

Re: Warsai's World

Children finally go to school today in my area, that means shorter lines at the 7-11! It's hard to keep track of all the new things here at FG. We have over 100 smilies and four forums included during last Labor Day weekend when I didn't post. I think I'll go to Borders or something today, I feel like picking up a new book.

Eritrean News:

Opposing the TPLF regime's anti-peace and racist policy, four Ethiopian soldiers arrived in Eritrea this week. They are: Gerezgiher Teklu Gidey from Tigrai, Aichie Mitku Desalegn, Ahmed Yimer Ali and Sintayehu Mandeforo Mola, all three from the Amhara ethnic group.

The soldiers disclosed that the TPLF regime is still beating the drum of war. They pointed out that the regime wants to remain in control of Badme, which is an integral part of sovereign Eritrean territory as confirmed by the EEBC ruling. The soldiers also exposed the TPLF regime's practice of discrimination among the different ethnic groups in the Ethiopian army.

Re: Warsai's World

Yesterday was the third anniversary of September 11. America mourns the loss of every man and woman who lost their lives on that day. Three years later, and three years wiser, we awakened to the fact that something like this can happen in America, but how far have we really come? We've invaded a country that was not a threat to us, that had no connection to 9/11 and yet we killed thousands of innocents there, and we let our own Americans die over there as well. We haven't taken down a dictator, we've replaced Saddam with another one. Very little steps have been taken on the "roadmap to peace". And now Bush is planning to invade Iran. But tell me, what has Iran done? We took down their ruler in the 70's over what? Were they a threat to us? No. Britain just wanted oil. We have done little to make America safer, and what we've done in Iraq and we're going to do in Iran and other countries in the Middle East isn't going to make America safe. We owe it to the people who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 to go after the real enemy.

Re: Warsai's World

This afternoon I watched the Redskins/Tampa Bay game, and it was amazing. Tied in the fourth quarter, I was really nervous. But Tampa blew their last chance to win with the two sacks done by Wynn and Warner. When Pierce made that interception, I was jumping off my seat. Here's a picture of Mike Alstott of the Buccaneers being stopped by LeVar Arrington and another defender:

Re: Warsai's World

It's been quite a while since I've last posted here, I've had way too much work to take care of. Well it looks like there are quite a few more topics to discuss so off I go.

It's election time again, and it's a very anxious night for Americans. But's it only the beginning. A long battle awaits....
