Cold Fusion kills

Cold fusion technology and recent cold fusion device patents haven't gotten much mainstream press. But you'd think any new development in the field would draw a lot of attention. All I know is that the Department of Energy has been accused of trying to block cold fusion patents and they have allegedly tried to discredit cold fusion researchers over the years.

Back in 1992 cold fusion scientist Andrew Riley was killed when a cold fusion cell in his lab exploded. Nobody was allowed in the lab because of fears of radiation exposure and the lab equipment was buried. But where did the radiation come from?

Last spring, Gene Mallove, a cold fusion pioneer and entrepreneur with his own patent was found murdered in his parent's back yard. And now I'm starting to wonder.

If Mallove's technolgy was real you could get a thousand watts of energy from one watt of electrical input. Cold fusion would change everything and fossil fuel technology would be dead.

Draw your own conclusions but if I were going to be a physicist I'd stay out of the cold fusion field.

Weird thing about cold fusion it's always twenty years away, In the 60's, they said cold fusion was twenty years away, in the 80's they said it was twenty years away. And now? Well, we're not driving with cold fusion engines in our cars. By the time we've created the Theory of Everything, the equation that wil unite all four fundamental forces, we'll have cold fusion figured out.
