Post newbee

Just looking for some words. Feed back. I woke up this morning from a bad dream and felt an adreniline? rush. It scared me (like most everything else). I turn to my husband of almost 10 years and got . When I get this way I need a distraction maybe some kind words. Since I have been getting from my husband I have have been working hard on my own words to myself .but sometimes its nice to hear from other people. Yes I deem myself crazy and have been medicated in the past for anxiety but I have been working really hard on my life and I am very proud of my mental strides. I just have bad moments now and again and look for some words. This from a mother of two young boys/wife of 10 years/volunteer /business owner/gym & swim coach/playground aid fill in/driver/house keeper/cook and soon to be triathlete.

Re: newbee

Welcome Karebear. If it's venting you need, you're in good company; there's lots of ventilation here . It's a really supportive group & I'm sure you'll find lots of friends. I've had spells like that from time to time. I don't know if reading and posting here helps, but it certainly can't hurt! It is very threraputic.

That's a pretty impressive list at the end of your post. Why do you think you're so driven?

By the way, newbies get the first round free at Bothwell's Pub. Stop by & cut loose awhile. Cyber-hol doesn't show up on breathalizers.

Re: newbee

Venting I guess that is what I needed. I have tried to stay busy because It leaves me no time to think. Even when I sit down to do nothing I do logic puzzles. When I have to much time to think, it almost always goes negitive so I love to go visit a place call denile.

Waaaayyy too deep and sensitive a subject to tackle here - at least for me. Escape into some of the threads you find here. I really think it'll help.

Hi Karebear. Welcome to the garden!

You are a very active person, you put me to shame!!

I'm also a mother of two, but no husband, having just kicked him into touch.

When do you find time for 'you' ?

Re: newbee

I have to wake up 2 hours earlier while everyone is asleep to train (Run/Bike/Swim). Then when the kids are asleep again at night I usually veg in front of the TV til I fall asleep. right now my kids are at grandma's and I am here recouping from this weekends practice run for the Triathlon. This was the first time I got to swim in open water and one thing I never saw coming was I got sea sick. . I got to figure something out or I will be stuck to swimming in pools.

missing the kids yet enjoiing the quiet.

Thats Dedicated!! Didn't realise you get sea sick from swimming! You could try anti sea sick pills next time, or I'm sure there's a natural remedy out there.
How long before the Triathlon??

Re: newbee

I didnt think you could either. The only thing I am worried about is the usual side effects of sea sick pills is drousiness and I still need to run and bike after swimming. My first outdoor tri is August 14

by the way somedays I would love to kick my husband too.
