I'm glad, the sooner the better.

As I said in another thread, there are many other things you can do to protest against an unfair law.

Unfair? It also bans any overt religious signs such as crucifixes, skull caps its hardly aimed solely at muslims. It is simply religious fundamentalists trying it on. If you go to a muslim country you are expected to conform to their mores why should they expect preferential treatment in a secular society?

I'm very surprised the catholic community in France did not take up their cross and holy statues onto a march.

I know. France is a democratic country, kids should be able to go to school and not get punished for wearing a cross around their necks or a head-scarf on their head.
