Lucas Mill forum?

How about a place where Lucas Mill portable sawmill owners can trade tips and info on using the mills? Or is this a little too tiny a group (maybe a few thousand of us in the world) to be worth a whole forum here? There is already an email group for small mills, but it's mostly people using chainsaw (Alaska) mills, or bandsaw mills. Will the search engines find it, to attract other Lucas Mill owners?

Very interesting. This is a very niche group, but it may fit in well with our Special Interest Group Area. Do you know of other users that you can invite to a new forum like this?

Thanks for the courteous reply! I'd say don't waste any bandwidth on this yet -- I will check around and see if some of the large dealer websites that sell Lucas Mills will post a link to a forum if you start one. If they do, I'm sure you will get interested people checking in.
Otherwise, it's definately a tiny specialty thing, so may not be appropriate. Will get back to this topic when research has been done.

Great Idea for such a forum!!
My neighbor just got her mill and it is up and running.
We need to construct a 'jug' to allow for the taper of a tree.
We are using cedar trees 30-40 ft long and we are having difficulty getting 90 degree cuts.
