What is the best practice to save water while watering a lawn? please suggest ..

Install gutters and a rainbarrel. Water with the runoff whenever you can.

Dig a well, if you can.

water first thing in the morning, or when the sun goes down.

water at least for one hour.........every 3 days if its really hot and no rain.

sometimes I do mine for an hour and a half as its climbs to 35C here.


make sure you also fertilizer 3 times a year, spring, summer and fall.

never cut your grass short, it will burn and die in the hot sun.
