and those guys coming back state side without all their equipment are gettnig charged too. some guy in KY, lost his arm, a kidney, his M-16, canteen, and helmet in a roadside bomb blast. the Marine Corps is charging him the price for each item he "lost"
well DUH! it all got blown to Hell like he did.
heard him talking about it in the Glen Beck radio show today.
i'll try to find it.

Nothing will be done to correct this practice.It is Marine Corp policy. And if you think the people of this country do care about the members of our Armed Forces just go to the nearest VA Hospital and take a good hard look around. What a freaking joke! "To care for those who have borne the battle".......my ass.

Sorry. Didn't realize there were two conversations going on. The Army guy was overpaid & the bureaucracy's too slow. I don't get what's 'unbelievable' about it. They didn't stop combat pay.
