I see GW is in India. I would worry more about India and Pakistan who HAVE nuclear weapons than the possibility that Iran MIGHT make them. This is not exactly the most stable region in the world either.

Looks like cold war realpolitik all over again except this time China is the target. If all you do is see others as potential enemies then you tend to take actions that end up making what you were afraid of in the first place. People don't want war but very few countries, if they perceive a threat will take stpes accordingly.

I reckon this type of realpolitik should be left behind in the 19th century along with the old empires.

What happened to globalisation that was going make everything better?
