Election updates.

As of 7 pm pacific time.

Obama, 200 electoral votes. McCain, 90.

Speculators say Obama will take both Ohio and Florida. Percantages are leaning that way. 59% Obama to 41% McCain in Florida. Minnisota has the same percentages.

Re: Election updates.

Yah-Yah .....me thinks that one is over, now it is down to the house and senate. Can the dems pull of a 60% majority or not? If so, then it is REALLY a dark time ahead..IMO

Re: Election updates.

I'm rather surprised that the popular vote is as close as it is considering the wide majority in the Electoral college. It means it was close in almost all the states except that Obama won the majority of them.

Re: Election updates.

With the state of Ohio in his win column, Obama wins the presidency become the nation’s 44th president and 1st openly socialist-leaning president.
