Things i hate in life are people who pretend they are something they are not and people who try to hide behind the truth.

I was first introduced to this forum when Spot posted a thread on me called 'Blue-rinse battle-axe makes world news'. Only, unknown to Spot which was not his fault, the newspaper he quoted in his thread libelled me. It has taken months to get to the bottom of who actually issued the press release to my local paper and during the investigation the paper admited to me in e mail that the interview with the youths parents and police spokes-person concerned was taken before any evidence had been heard in court.

If any-one wishes to comment on this thread, please do not mention the famous Lawyer's name or my name as police are watching the net for sites as i am waiting for a date for an appeal and a civil case against the police.

At the bottom of the link i have added, there is a comment by the youth's parents. This comment was taken by my local paper BEFORE his friends gave evidence in court under cross-examination that he was indeed in the act of damaging a war memorial and NOT mistaken identity as the police and his parents tried to plead. They also admitted under cross-examination that they had lied in their statements to the police at the time which is why the CPS brought the charges against me. This is why the judge ruled out all claims for compensation and the youth did not get a penny. It also why i have to go through a sperate civil lawsuit against the police which is now on-going.

When Spot first posted the thread on me after my trial, there were a few members on here who got down right nasty. Since then, i have made good friends with all of them and Spot has been an enormous help to me as well as gmc, carolly and Odie and mikeinie.

This is the report from a local paper after the trial but excuse the pic of me as i was scowling at the media circus at the court.

HERO'S GIRL GUILTY OF WAR MEMORIAL ATTACK

The appeal is based on my arresting officer being investigated by senior Detective's for the last two months and being found guilty of lying under oath as well as mis-conduct during my trial. Also a vital 999 call from a member of the public asking for help for me. We were never imformed of this call. Also a vital adult witnesses who's details were given to police by another witnessess for the prosecution was never approached by police as she would have been a vital witness for the defence and for me.

The paper Spot quoted from did print a retraction the following day after checking with the court that i was not found guilty based on 'Mistaken Identity'.

To be honest, i don't care what any-one on here thinks of me. Sometime's some-one has to stand up for what they believe is right. If you don't agree, then please say so, I shall take no offence.

Hello Oscar

You know that I've always supported you. You did the right thing....you cared. You are a decent, respectable citizen just trying to protect our memorials from vandals.

I only wish that more citizens would care about reporting vandalism and not turn their eyes away due to fear or lack of concern.

I can't believe this case has gotten this far. You should be handed a medal with thanks.

Well, you have my support. I should think most of the decent citizens in this country are sick of these gangs and more so of the authorities, police, and justice system that appears to support the yobs rather than the law abiding folk.
I hope justice is done for you now.
