Gosh, you will hate my advice. I lost a lot of weight without trying, and to keep myself stabilized I have a high caloric intake-sugar! Those candy bars help me feel better, and weigh the same. Of course, you can eat those healthy kinds if you want to.
I'm overweight so I don't have any healthy tips for you but I do think it's pretty rude of people to say that to you. I realize in this society we value skinny people over fat ones but do people ever stop to think that maybe those remarks hurt a thinner person's feelings just like fat jokes hurt ours?
Are you healthy?
do you smoke?
try to eat healthy foods, fish oil, salad, eat porridge every morning, nothing better for setting the body up for the day, this will then increase your appitite,
ask yourself are you healthy and happy if either of these are missing then its better to fix this before worrying about your diet, if you are both of these then eat your main meal as late in the day as possible preferably about an hour before you go to bed,
Dont worry about what ppl say about your body, those who mock only mock themselfs worrying wont help your health, dont worry about aesthetics, just be happy and healthy and all will come.
I don't know the context of the remarks - whether it's friends' good-natured & envious ribbing or people showing true concern because your elbow joints are larger than your arms. Either way, hitting the gym (or whatever will suffice within your budget) will tone your muscles and improve your physique.
I'll bet a dollar (Canadian not US as I'm not rich) that if you posted a pic you'd find more appreciation here than not.
I don't know how old you are, but I was skinny as a rail my whole life until I hit 40 and POOF! Enjoy the time you're thin and can eat whatever you want, it ends for most of us soon enough.
ummm snooze.... dear, what exactly does "POOF" look like?
Its easy to gain weight, and all it takes is about 20 minutes a day....
Day 1. Do as many push ups and sit ups as you can. Note those numbers.
Day 4. Do half your total, add two to the amount every other day till you double your original amount. Do that amount of each exercise for 30 days.
Eat all that you desire of any type food that you want... morning noon and night. In 30 days you will have gained 3-5 pounds.
I absolutely gurantee it, or your money back.
What it does is stimulates your bodys matablism to slow down... you can get abotu 30 days of it to occur with suddenly and consistanly increasing your caloric need.
After 30 days, stop for a week, then resume... if you keep rotating through that cycle you'll slowly gain weight. This will work for about 10 pounds. after about 4 cycles you will level off and it will be your new matabolism.
I know this works because at the Army fitness center they take alcoholics that lost weight and needed to strengthen and gain weight to get back to duty and this is the program they use.
My discliamer... I do not know the long term effects of it.
