Carbohydrates............

I usually have my favorite for lunch, I do not eat breakfast.

I have two toasted english muffins with nutella on them, I know what carbs do, turn into sugar, then turn into fat, but could this be causing me to be sooooooooooooo tired that I cannot stay awake?

Unfortunately, when you max out on carbs, you can sort of fall into a 'food coma' because your body uses lots of energy to digest it, but it absorbs slowly, so you'll feel run down while it builds up the energy supplies again.

I never used to bother with breakfast either, it seemed like too much effort, but a yogurt first thing is ideal, it'll kick start everything and doesn't seem like hard work.

Just lean protein and salad or veg, maybe with some nuts or small amount of carbs will see you through the afternoon much better than stodgy stuff!

Yes, carbs will do that. Some protein, and fruit or a veggie would make your afternoon so much better.

Yep... I'm addicted to working out.

Stick with complex carbohydrates (oligosaccharides and polysaccharides) fruits, vegetables, whole grains... you generally don't want more than 50 to 75% of total energy stemming from carbohydrates, however.

Some of you Canadians don't need too, apparently... Koan never works out, but somehow maintains a perfect shape.
