For My Friend Carol

Friends are special people. We can't pick our family, and we're sorely limited in the number of them at any rate. Society and mores (and often our own conscience) dictate we select a single mate. But our friends can be as diverse and infinite as the adjectives we choose. Our friends, in a very real sense, reflect the choices we make in life.

One blue and deep and bright,

One warm, quiet and unflawed,
Carrying a mood of solitude,
And a closeness to our God.

Thats beautiful Chezzie......Carol and I met many many years ago...she is a lot older than me lol.....we have been there for each other and supported each through the good times and the bad...we have had words and made up we have laughed and we have cried...this woman is amazing and is a true friend and an asset to this forum.......I feel privilidged to have her in my life and love her like a sister....Thanks Chezzie for putting this thread up for the most derserving caring person

Yes, I agree with you there Kay. She is one of my best buds here on the FG. And she is funny, nice, caring and just a nice chickie all around.

ye i sort of go a bundle on her as well lol.chezzie thanks for this and only few of us know the real person behind the words typed here.my carols like marmite you either love or hate her and for those of you that dont love or even like her all i can say is you dont really know her at all.
