Ho Hum...Back on days...
Ho hum, well, here I am, sat at home and waiting for the clock to tick round to 6:15 am, when I will venture out into the rain in order to catch my bus into town and go to work. I have just spent about three months doing night shifts every week (5 or 6 nights a week) so as you can imagine, my body clock is a bit shot to pieces. I've got four days followed by two nights then holiday for ten days!! Yipee!! Will try to post when I get home tonight (around 5:30pm) if i'm not too tired ![]()

Re: Ho Hum...Back on days...
Good luck with the adjustment in your work pattern, Woppy. My son's girlfriend is a midwife and she follows an everchanging rota of "earlies" "lates" and nights. It is exhausting because she doesn't have the opportunity to adjust to one work pattern before it changes.

I know how you feel woppy, I walk into work from home which takes approximately 45 minutes. I do it so I can keep myself fit and the walk into work is approximately 2 - 3 miles. As I start at 8.45am I leave the house at 7.50am which gives me ample of time to get to work.

Re: Ho Hum...Back on days...
I spent two years working graveyard shift. Hated it. Did not sleep well at all..and on my days off I ended up sitting awake most of the night because I could only sleep during the day.
