Threads that you don't post in...

If you post in a thread and then dont return its assumed that you posted what you want to post and moved on. If you post in a thread, have yer say, then hang on to discuss further then its fairly obvious from what you post what you mean.

But, if you dont post in a thread can you be held accountable for not participating in it?

I mean is it fair to charctarize a whole group of poeple who dont post in a thread as being 'afraid' to post in it?

I frequently post what I have to say and don't ever look back at a thread. I don't try to set anyone up for an argument, I just voice whatever thought floats past and keep moving...

Even more often then a one post, I opt not to post at all. Some folks I don't bother to read at all... they bore me. Some I agree with quite a bit, so no need to repeat them.. some I don't understand, but everyone else appears to get it, so i leave them to it rather then interrupt with questions.. but 'afraid' ?

That tends to be a taunt of the weak minded, IMO. I think that if someone uses that as a tactic and it works with anyone... they've found themselves a like minded weakling and I say leave them to it.

I think it bothers some folks when they don't get the number of responses they'd like to a thread they put up ... that's a shame.. personally, I'm used to offering up lead balloons..

By the way- I decided to take up two new vices for 2009- I'm gonna do binge drinking and indescriminate sexual intercourse-no kissing. Not necessarily in that order. I hear I could make tax free money at it. I got a few scars but I ain't bad lookin.
